Before Departure
Today is the day before my flight to Cape Town, South Africa. At this time tomorrow, I'll probably be scrambling at the airport going through customs, but I'm not really sure what the day will bring. I haven't been on a plane in 12 years since the last time I went home to Nigeria, but I'm feeling excited. I chose to spend my summer in Cape Town because it's just one of the many places that I wish to go. The past few months of my life have been very eye opening, and I pray that this journey will be the first step towards a lifetime of being the real me.
